This bot was originally made for artists to announce
when ever they’re streaming to their Discord members,
but now it became much more than that. Now the bot
supports Twitch, Picarto, Piczel, and YouTube.

Getting Started

So lets get into it and get the StreamMaster working on
your Discord Server by adding a stream.
For this example we are going to add a 24hour stream so
that we can see results right away.
The stream we are going to use is a music stream that is
found on Smile Machine Music’s YouTube channel.

  1. Use this link to get the bot on your server.
Just make sure your server have slash commands enabled.
  2. Pick a dedicated channel for the StreamMaster bot to
announce streams on. You can actually pick several channels if
you wish to organize or group streams for roles.
  3. Set the that channel’s permissions so the bot can create and delete messages.
Note, to prevent just anybody from using the bot, the user invoking the commands must have permissions to manage that dedicated channel.
  4. After adding the bot, you can start adding streams to the Discord server. You just need to start typing with a forward slash and it’ll bring up a list
    of options to use.

Click on StreamMaster icon to list all commands belonging to the bot.

Pick the option “/streams youtube add” and fill out the fields,
    so we get this.
  5. After submitting the command, in a short time the bot will tell you
if it failed or or not. If it succeed you just have to wait 4 – 8 min for the
stream to appear on your discord channel.
